Hello,

My name is Dr. Robert McGrath, D.O. and I am the Medical Director at Juventix Regenerative Medical. I hope the joke brought a smile to your face and a little levity to your day. However, ED is no laughing matter but a serious medical condition that unfortunately is getting worse in the population. As the literature has documented for years, tachyphylaxis to the class of oral phosphodiesterase inhibitors (ViagraÒ, CialisÒ, LevitraÒ, StaxynÒ, StendraÒ) may occur to your patients over time and repeated use. I am proud to offer an FDA cleared method to extract Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) without harmful chemical additives. It’s a simple, reliable cost-effective method that can be performed in the office without extensive training and equipment. If you want to add something more to augment patient care in these problematic populations, please contact my office and experience what Juventix can do for you.

I have enclosed some articles for your review.

Regenerative Regards,

Abstract

Purpose: We observed that patients who initially responded to Sildenafil frequently became resistant to it with time. We evaluated the long-term efficacy of Sildenafil

Conclusions: Our data suggests that there is a possible tachyphylaxis effect with Sidenafil of the patients who were followed for 2 years 20% had to increase the dose to get the same effect and 17% discontinued use due to loss of efficacy

Safety and Feasibility of Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix Injections for the Treatment of Common Urologic Conditions

Purpose: Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is increasingly used in a variety of settings. PRP injections have been used for decades to improve angiogenesis and wound healing. PRP could theoretically improve multiple urologic conditions such as ED, Peyronie’s Disease and Stress Incontinence. A concern with PRP early washout potentially avoided by conversion to Platelet Fibrin Matrix

Conclusion: Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix appears to be safe and feasible treatment modality in patients with urologic disease
